I will set up your email for you so that it’s easy to use and can explain everything very simply so that you fully understand what you need to do and why. I will also explain junk email and show you which emails you need to be cautious of.
Writing letters and creating documents
If you want to create professional documents and letters I can help you design your layout, choose your fonts, include pictures and generally use your software to create the best-looking documents you can. I will show you how to print your documents or send them by email.
Using the internet safely
It seems as though everything is on the internet these days and if you’re not comfortable browsing the web, you may feel that you are missing out on a lot. I can help you by making sure your computer is set up with good security software and showing you how to use it. I can help you find the best browser for you and explaining how you can make the most of it. I can show you how to find and recognise good websites and can explain “phishing” and other cons and help you avoid them.
Shopping online
From having your supermarket shop delivered to your doorstep to grabbing a bargain, the internet is a great place for shopping. But it can sometimes seems as though there’s too much choice. I can show you how to find the product you’re looking for on a reputable website, set up an account and safely place an order.
